Well, here's the deal, my brothers 1 year old laptop is up for sale since he's buying a newer one for college, the price is 50$ and I really want it as my home pc is shit. Here are the specs:

AMD-E-300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.30 GHz

2.0GB of RAM

AMD Radeon Hd 6310 Graphics

Windows 7 home premium

Now for that price and this bad of a lapto, I think it's worth it, the screen is 15.6 inches and I weighs decently light, now my question is: If I were to drop in 200$ to upgrade it for gaming, at Christmas and 200$ more for my birthday, what should I upgrade and is t worth it? I was thinking about upgrading it to an Intel core i3 they have on sale, and then adding some ram and tendency alter a better graphics card. Please tell me your opinions and if you maybe have some spare laptop parts that you don't use that are better than mine.

Is it worth it?

It's complicated to upgrade laptop components, and since it's a laptop, the possibility of changing from an AMD processor to an Intel one is nill

Maybe you could spend the money upgrading your home pc?

If it's only $50 I'd go for it, the RAM is nice, it beats mine and I can still perform games nicely.

1.30 GHz, lookin' alright too.

You should probably look for a nice core processor, and of course customize it for gaming, a nice mouse, mousepad, etc.

Windows 7 is always nice to use, good and user-friendly.

Laptops are awful if it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card. You'd spend much less money upgrading your computer than attempting to upgrade a laptop.

My current home pc is so bad... It's over 8 years old and it's graphics card doesn't have any updates anymore... And my CPU is at about 1.8 on my home pc... I would have to upgrade like everything

I would suggest buying the laptop and using it. Then save the money you were going to use to upgrade to buy a new desktop with.
