New map changes ready for the biomes:

Key:

Blue area == Changes occurring in this area are to highlight the new Snow Biome. The previous biome will receive a touch-up / some alterations and adjustments which may effect your base. So there are some slight landscape/terrain changes made throughout the biome.

Orange area == This is the new Redwood biome. It will be replacing the previous existing 
Jungle/Mountain area that was here before.

Green area == This is the swamp biome that will turn into Redwood.

Not a full back up but I have done several saves on the server.

Patch 242.1 is out. Our server needs updating. Are you wanting a backup before that patch too?

Update for v242.3


Unversioned Hotfix: Fixed issue with Leech Blood not being storable in Icebox/Preserving Bins. Requires Server Update.
* Performance improvements to server yielding 20-25% perf increase. Also improves Client CPU utilization.
* Changed Rhino Horn requirement to Narcotic on Lesser Antidote. Made Lesser Antidote Disease Immunity last 3 minutes.
* Leech Blood now spoils after 3 hours (Stackable in Quantities of 50), can be stored in Fridge. Made leech blood more common to harvest.
* Made Swamp Fever increase movement speed by 20% and decrease rate of food, water, and oxygen consumption by 50%.
* Made Swamp Fever not able to be transmitted through collisions/walls.
* Among current non-human creatures, now only Tamed Dodos can be infected with Swamp Fever. (as intended). Any existing infected dinos are cleared on sever launch.
* Bug Repellent now repels Leeches and bug repellent now works when applied to your Tamed Dinos
* Attached Leech no longer drains Stamina.
* Reduced rate by about 70% of Diseased Leeches in Swamps, as intended.
* Water/Amphibious creatures are no longer targeted by Leeches. (swamp native ;)
* Dinos will not play the eat animation so often when autonomously eating
* Fixed another value that was increasing rate of Quetz food consumption, is now fully back to original values.
* New Server Options
?NonPermanentDiseases=true
This will make Diseases not permanent (you will then lose them if you respawn).
?PreventDiseases=true
This will completely disable Diseases on the server. (thus far just 'Swamp Fever').

* Fixed appearance of "blue fog" on the Cave-water material.

* Fixed some Raft exploits (C4-Poker and Breach-Rafts)
* Reduced the scaling by 50% of Dino Adult Food Consumption rate when unstasising. This is to help compensate for the bug fix in v242.0 which now correctly utilizes the Adult Food Consumption Rate when unstasising a Dinosaur (hence the higher rate of consumption on Giganotosaurus, which were one of the few Dinosaurs to use that multiplier).
* Allowed Vaults to be built on Rafts, specifically.
* Fixed Raft naming & some other potential Raft networking issues.
* Made Fortitude slightly more effective for avoiding Disease (90 Fortitude == 80% reduction in Disease chance, rather than 110 Fortitude)

22nd June 2016.

Just awaiting for the official update for both servers to v243. Due to time zone differences it will be early hours of 23rd June (Thursday) for Europe and late on the 22nd June (Wednesday) for the USA....that's if the update goes ahead without any problems.

Jat has reveled a slight problem yesterday to do with the location of the barriers so there has been an extension around the unsafe area.

The Center map has just added the feature for an optional RPG mode. This means when you attack a dino you can see how much attack damage your dino is producing as well as how much the wild ones are hitting back at you. This feature is already on the Island map.

Both maps have dino and player download features when you join so if you wish to bring a dino onto our servers from the Center Map/Island Map at Rencorner then you can do so freely.

On Linux Servers, you need to run this script (included with the ARK dedicated server files) once to install SteamCMD: \SteamCMDInstall.sh

You will need to setup ALL your Auto Updates again.
The first time you update your server and mods it will download them again. This is so that the version can be tracked.
* [NEW] Auto Update and Auto-Restart have been completely re-written.

16th July

Sorting out another server for Ark and the Center Map due to the current issues with the server box. Almost done just need to transfer some files and then test the new server.

Will post the new IP in due course and hopefully the server should run smoother.

 

An update is also due for the ark servers..will post info shortly.

The Island Map needs updating but due to a little fishing bug, we haven't updated the server from v250 or the ASM to sneakily take this advantage. The fishing bug just includes where players can fish for blueprint saddles for their dinos which include :

(Ramshackle is the lower end of the spectrum with Ascendant being the best)

Added two more mods to the Center Map.

  • Star-gate Atlantis.
  • Kibble Vending Machine.
  • Pimp My Dino.
  • Homing Pigeon.

Just going to see how these go then will prob add some more to the Center Map and/or The Island Map.

 

24th September 2016.

Fixed the Center Map not being able to pick up wild dinos. Seemed there was a box unchecked to prevent it which could have been auto unchecked by WC on their updates to prevent griefers. This is mainly for PVP servers but ours is PVE.

8th November 2016.

Mod: Super Tranq Rifle was added a few days ago to the Island map and added today to the Center map. It basically means you craft the super tranq darts and learn the engrams for both. Once  you have done this find a dino of your choice and then shoot it just once (NOT THE TITANOSAUR) and it will make the dino unconscious straight away just after only ONE shot. To save time on taming it automatically starves the dino...so then you add it's favourite kibble/meat/berries etc to feed it and the dino will be tamed in a matter of minutes instead of waiting hours.

Both servers have been updated to V250. The Halloween season is now over and you cannot get any more skeleton skins or have any items like pumpkins,gravestones etc.
